I recommend getting a generator along with this motor, it is very much up to the job and is alot of fun to light up the engine house 😆

This motor is a true mechanical marvel of engineering! I am a professional watch and clock maker by trade, and I use the 1140 motor every single day to operate my watchmakers lathe, I use it heavily throughout my work day to make, mill, machine, and polish parts. It is absolutely 💯 capable of doing real work for hours on end and it absolutely has real world applications at the scail that I am using it at. I run it and work it hard and it keeps coming back for more and is a pleasure to operate. As someone who WORKS it versus just plays with it, I can say that its value and working quality is absolutely the BEST in the world.

I received my 1110 engine some days ago and right out of the box the engine just runs beautifully.It's a very exquisite engine to look at and hold and my first from OKMO with metal piston rings.There's so much to like about this engine....I can't wait to get to know it better and get some hoursrunning on this engine.JimBlue Heelers Model

Internal gears are steel helical gears and cam followers, excellent bearings, and smooth, quiet function. A first for OKMO, a machined oil pump with internal oil circuit tube circuit, means you don't need to premix two stroke oil in your petrol; it uses an iron piston ring. An unusual and desirable hit and miss engine, a rare vertical model. If you're a model engineer willing to tweak this will reward the challenges of discovering it's secrets. Like all model hit and miss engines, benefits from ignition at TDC. Now one of my most reliable runners

Jin's first v-twin and has an interesting construction for the model engineer. A solid effort but I find the Harley models have superceded this now.I have an early version with a tiny float chamber feeding the carb...this is a complex engine and not so easy to work on

I agree to all the comments by Engine Man. A truly great model engineer's engine and absolutely complete, as such, great value. Do yourself a favor and get this heirloom piece....unless you want to spend thousands of dollars or machine tools, learn decades of skill and take over a year to build one yourself?
